About the work
I paint to get what I feel out where I can see it.
The pictures stay close: a face with its eyes closed, a girl and her dog, an animal half hidden in the grass.
I work in oil pastel and acrylic, in strong color, with a moving line that follows the form of hair, fur and skin. I leave the marks rough on purpose. Smoothing them would take the feeling out with it.
